Abies are evergreen conifers, widespread in Asia, Central America, Europe, North America and North Africa. Often very tall, with spiralled branches bearing flattened, linear leaves. Abies koreana 'Silberlocke' is an eye catching cultivar with two toned curling dark-green needles with their silvery-white underside brings unusual texture to any garden.
