Cedrus is a genus of coniferous trees in the plant family Pinaceae. They are native to the mountains of the western Himalayas and the Mediterranean region, occurring at altitudes of 1,500–3,200m in the Himalayas and 1,000–2,200m in the Mediterranean. These large evergreen trees have needle-like leaves arranged spirally on young shoots, and in whorls on short spur-like side-shoots; ovoid cones break up to release the seeds while still attached to the tree.

Details
Cedrus deodara ‘Gold Cascade’ has eye-catching cascading branches with bright yellow and lime green foliage. With time, it slowly matures into a broad upright tree but with selective pruning it can also be maintained as a smaller sized spreading specimen. A great addition to the winter garden. Hand grafted and propagated at Lime Cross Nursery.
