Pinus parviflora 'Fukai' is a Japanese White Pine that has blue, green and yellow needles. This unique coloration and it's branch structure make this pine very ornamental. This dwarf form grows fairly upright and is suitable for pots and gardens of any size.
Typical rate of growth in most areas is 6 to 8 inches (15 - 20 cm) annually, resulting in a broad, but fairly small tree 5 feet (1.6 m) tall and nearly as wide after 10 years of growth.
Best planted in a sunny site on well drained soils. Not suitable for shallow chalk.
