Relaxed Mid Week Yoga Retreat
Take part in this gentle, relaxing yoga retreat day.
Arrive at 10:45 to meet your host in the main shop, who will show you down to the lake area where you will enjoy a delicious two-course alfresco brunch buffet (all dietary requirements catered for).
At noon head out for a guided tour of the nursery and ancient woodland, discovering flora, fauna, alpacas and wildlife.
At 13:00, return to the decked area by the lake for an hour long gentle, nurturing hatha yoga class with Kate, this class is suitable for all abilities but the pace will be gentle. Kate will discuss any limitations you might have with you and tailor the class accordingly.
Following this, you have the option to plunge into the beautifully clear lake, and feel invigorated and liberated or simply relax on the decking or in the wood fired hot tub next to the lake.
End the day with a well-earned glass of bubbles and a slice of homemade cake, before a 15:30 finish.
N.B. - Participants must be confident and capable swimmers, however a lifeguard will be onsite throughout. If you are nervous of wild swimming do let us know so that we can support you. We will ask you to fill out a short health check questionnaire on arrival, but please discuss any health issues or injuries with us so that we can fully support you. We believe that there is no such thing as bad weather and ask that in the event of rain or gloom you arrive prepared with warm clothes, wellies, umbrellas etc. We have some undercover areas available, but the main decked area is open to the elements. This event is subject to bookings so we are unfortunately unable to run the event if we do not get the minimum required number of bookings, however we will provide at least 72 hours’ notice. We will also cancel events if there is a chance of lightning, this might happen quite close to the start time of the event, due to the unpredictability of our UK weather.
