Juniper is a large genus of fifty three species and occupies a huge ecological and geographical range across the Northern Hemisphere. Junipers can be prostrate or erect, evergreen shrubs or trees with aromatic, scale-like or sharply pointed awl-shaped leaves, and small berries.
Details
Hand grafted and propagated at Lime Cross Nursery. Juniper Conferta Schlager is a lovely dwarf growing, carpet building conifer. The bright silvery green prickly foliage is an addition to the garden.
Soil Type: Normal, heavy clay, light sandy, chalk, loam.
Aspect: Full sun.
Foliage Type: Evergreen.
Foliage Colour: Green needles.
Pot Size: 3 litre.
Special Attributes: Native to the Japanese coast, it does well in seacoast environments.
