Skincare Ingredients and Recipes from the Wild and the Garden in East Sussex
This unique, seasonal class will show you how to make home made herb and flower infusions to add highly effective skincare benefits to your natural recipes. You will take a walk around the gardens at Lime Cross looking at beneficial herbs and flowering plants and build these into your own unique, tailor made skincare.
You will make a natural shampoo and a cream to take home, based around the ingredients we have found. All ingredients and recipes are provided as well as lots of professional hints and tips.
Arrive at the shop for 1:15, we will have a break in the middle of the workshop for coffee/ tea/ hot chocolate and home made cake from Olives Café.
Please bring a coat and suitable footwear if the weather is wet.
JULIETTE GOGGIN co-author of the immensely successful Handmade Beauty, and Handmade Spa , which were published in 2016 and 2018, initially trained in the fragrance industry, going on to combine this with experience in product development of cosmetics for many High Street brands. She created her own range of candles and soaps under the Juliette at Home brand in 2006, which became firm favourites with niche boutiques and department stores, as well as finding success in Scandinavia. She now runs a consultancy company specialising in product development for cosmetics and home fragrance and is a regular speaker at cosmetic industry seminars. Juliette also runs crafting classes from her home in Hastings, East Sussex, teaching homemade skincare and candle-making. She appeared in two series of Superscrimpers on Channel 4 in 2012 and 2013, helping participants to learn useful crafting skills and to save money at the same time. She is the co-author of an up-cycling craft book, Junk Genius, published in 2012 and reprinted in 2017.
