Hamamelis are deciduous shrubs with broadly ovate or rounded leaves, sometimes colouring well in autumn, and fragrant yellow to red flowers with four narrow petals, borne on the leafless branches in late winter and early spring, or in autumn.
Hamamelis x intermedia ‘Westerstede’ bears beautiful yellow, slightly scented flowers. Its oval green leaves fade to yellow before falling in autumn.
Easy to grow in an acid to neutral, well-drained soil in sun or partial shade.
Supplied in a 5L container, height between 80-100cm all full of bud.
