Genus The Spruces are evergreen trees with rigid, needle-like leaves arranged singly all round the shoots, and narrow, leathery-scaled cones borne near the ends of the shoots. They are found across the northern hemisphere, as a major constituent of the boreal forest above and below the Arctic Circle southwards down the main mountain chains of Europe, North America and Asia.

Stately, Picea Glauca ‘Pendula' is a narrow, conical to pyramidal, evergreen tree adorned with a strong central leader and very pendulous branches that cascade down gracefully and hug the trunk. Its long limbs are covered with nice, blue-green needles.
