'Eddie's White Wonder' is a large, rounded deciduous shrub to 6m, with ovate leaves turning red and purple in autumn. Flower-heads to 12cm in width, in late spring, with usually four overlapping broad white bracts. Shortlisted for the Chelsea Plant of the Centenary for the decade 1963-1972.
