Olive's Cafe

What's on the menu?

Olive's Cafe

We welcome you back to the café, where we have reduced our covers from 60 to 20, so that we can ensure maximum social distancing and safety. We have created a cosy and calm space for our guests who simply want a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake or legendary cheese scone.

We are also offering a delicious breakfast and lunch menu, freshly prepared by Kate and Mandy, using fresh, locally sourced and home grown (where possible) ingredients. We are able to cater for all dietary requirements and have a large range of vegetarian and vegan alternatives.

We were recently awarded 5 stars for hygiene at Olive's Cafe. A big thank you to our wonderful Cafe team!

Please note: We have some capacity for walk-in customers, however to avoid disappointment we strongly recommend booking online or contacting us to book a table.

Our takeaway cafe service is still available through our website and will continue to be updated with some of our favourites.

Olives Café is named after Olive Tate who co-founded the nursery with her husband Allan. Olive loved plants and her dogs that she walked in the woods every day, where she’d be looking out for her beloved kingfisher.

Olive's granddaughters Vicky and Helen now co-run the nursery. Kate and Mandy run the kitchen, with Lois and Karen generally assisting them to make things run smoothly. We are a small team who pride ourselves on excellent customer service and ensuring that you have a relaxing and safe visit.
