This ancient tree flourished with the dinosaurs about 180-200 million years ago. For a long time Ginkgo was considered to be extinct but has since been found growing in the wild in China. Their fan shaped leaves changefrom green to a golden yellow in the autumn.
Details Hand grafted and propagated at Lime Cross Nursery ‘Lil.Matthew’ is a slow growing dwarf cultivar with deeply bi-lobed slightly cupped leaf. The foliage is a rich dark green, which turn to a golden yellow in the autumn. This is recently introduced cultivar (2015). Soil Type: Normal, heavy clay, light sandy, chalk, loam. Aspect: Full sun.
