Thuja plicata 'Stolwyk'
Evergreen, monoecious shrubs to tall trees, native to North America, North East China, Korea, Japan and Taiwan from sea level to low montane areas in cool, moist climate zones. The trunk is single or multi-stemmed, often branching from the base, forming a conical or pyramid crown. The beaches are spreading or ascending, occasionally rooting and forming new trunks.
Propagated at Lime Cross Nursery Thuja plicata 'Stolwyk' is a large, evergreen, narrowly-pyramidal tree. Aromatic, glossy, scale-like, sharply-pointed leaves are held in large drooping sprays on spreading branches that curve upwards at the end. Cones are egg-shaped and around 1.3cm long.
